I have obtained my Bachelor’s degree in science (Physics-Chemistry) with Education in 2008 and in 2010, I got a Master’s Degree of Engineering (Option: Chemical Engineering) in Xiamen University/China, after one year of research in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Labs where my research focused on Optimization of medium components for natamycin production by Streptomyces Gilvosporeus.Since December 2010- June 2011, I worked as Head of Supplies and material analysis Department at Construction Company-SEEGEC Ltd.

Since July 2011, I worked as full time Tutor of Chemistry at Kavumu College of Education and since April 2012-August 2014, I worked as Part-time Assistant Lecturer at Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST)/Rwanda,current College of Science and Technology in the University of Rwanda.As Educator, I participated in the development of appropriate training manuals and strategies that can help for professional development. I had attended different trainings and Conferences related to science teaching, and engineering conferences.

Since 2014 up to date, I am conducting the research on Biosynthesis of bio-based products such as phycocyanin by microalgae, especially Arthrospira (Spirulina) platensis as my PhD research project in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering Department, Xiamen University, in the research group of Professor Lu Yinghua, where I have contributed to the publication of more than four article in International peer reviewed Journals with Science Citation Index (SCI).A well-organized and confident Chemical Engineer and Educator, with a vision of working in a competitive and challenging environment that appreciates hard work, pragmatic and innovative ideas in teamwork.I want to make a significant contribution to research that can be applied for the betterment of people’s quality of life and social well-being, and the enhancement of competitiveness of the community.
